Riverside Rancheros Junior Equestrian Team

The Riverside Rancheros Junior Equestrian Team, representing, the Riverside Rancheros Equestrian Club in Riverside, California was started in 2003, Formerly the Arlington High School Junior Equestrian Team, they are members of the California State Horseman's Association and the Equestrian Paraders of California.  Under the guidance of the Team's Founder, and advisor Valerie Starck the Team is going on its 37th consecutive year of parade competition. They have been C.S.H.A. State high point winners for 29 years and won several other sweepstakes and first place awards.

The team consists of 10 to 20 year old youth, whom compete in up to 13 parades a year, promoting Equestrian Youth and Patriotism for their Country.

Between parades they practice Barrel Racing. Ranch Sorting, Team Penning and Trail Maneuvers at the Riverside Rancheros arena, in Riverside, California.

The Team would like to thank the men and woman of the United States Military and their families for their dedication and sacrafice to the United States of America.

Bringing the youth together on horseback

On May 20, 2008, The Riverside Rancheros Junior Equestrian Team was honored to provide a mounted flag Ceremony for Governor Schwarzenegger's campaign fundraiser. The event was hosted by the Tavaglione Family at the Riverside Rancheros.  This is the second Flag Entry the Team has done for the Governor in the last two years.

After the Governors Speech, the Team waited patiently for the Governor to greet the crowd before getting a few pictures. The donors and the Team were than treated to a western style BBQ served in the middle of the Rancheros Arena.
